Product Overview

NBR foam sealing strips are porous, elastic seals made from nitrile rubber (NBR) through intensive mixing, foaming, extrusion, and vulcanization. They feature a closed-cell structure throughout, offering multiple benefits, including oil resistance, soft cushioning, sound insulation and noise reduction, water and dust resistance, and vibration‑damping sealing. Lightweight, highly resilient, and capable of greater compression, they represent an upgraded alternative to conventional solid NBR sealing strips.

Core Material Characteristics

The base material is nitrile rubber, offering excellent resistance to mineral oils, engine oils, hydraulic fluids, and diesel fuel.
Closed-cell foam structure; non‑absorbent, waterproof, and highly airtight.
Soft texture, excellent compression recovery, and strong ability to conform to gaps;
It is resistant to aging, acids and alkalis, and abrasion and tearing, with a long service life.
It offers superior flame retardancy, sound insulation, and vibration damping compared to conventional solid sealing strips.

Hardness: Shore A 30–60 (ultra-soft foam version)
Operating temperature: -35°C to 100°C
Structure: Independent closed cells, waterproof and non-permeable.
Color: Standard black; customizable in gray, white, red, and more.
Process: Extrusion continuous molding, available in fixed-length cuts or supplied in rolls.
Optional configuration: comes with self-adhesive backing (strong pressure-sensitive adhesive / 3M adhesive), enabling installation without drilling.
