U‑shaped automotive weatherstripping is a U‑section sealing strip manufactured via co‑extrusion, combining elastic materials such as EPDM, PVC, and TPE with an internal steel‑wire reinforcement. It is specifically designed for the edges of automotive sheet metal, glass, doors, windows, and other metal or panel surfaces, providing integrated functions of edge protection, weatherproofing and waterproofing, dust and noise insulation, impact buffering, and aesthetic enhancement. It features secure snap‑on installation, ease of mounting, and broad compatibility.

Core Structural Features

U-shaped card slot design
Standard U-shaped groove with an integrated steel‑wire frame, providing secure clamping on sheet‑metal edges. It snaps into place without adhesive, stays put, and won’t shift—perfectly encasing sharp edges to prevent scratches and rust.
